Very investment heavy and takes quite a bit of practice to pilot it. Personally, I'd suggest picking a DPS class as your first for the story, getting to Punika and then boosting a support with the Punika pass. The class can stay at mid range and just dish out damage even if the guardian gets in your face you can just shield or use a ability with protection ruin or one of the build in shields in the damaging abilities.
